Hi, I’m a sex-repulsed asexual who is very candid about sex scenes not being necessary to every story and I am here to tell you that
1. Sex scenes do not automatically make porn
2. Porn is not actually unacceptable
3. When you start restricting content, it never stops.

I AM tired of hearing from allos, especially allo queer people, that not wanting horniness in everything is-
AND I am fully aware that declaring things obscene and off limits is an infringement on the rights of readers and writers. And it never stops with one form of “obscenity”.
I’m considered obscene for NOT wanting to put sex in every work. This is not a winnable scenario.
And what they’re trying to restrict is freedom. To express, to feel, to think, to be different in pretty much any way.
Allo writers aren’t my enemy. They can annoy the shit out of me sometimes. But we need to go shoulder to shoulder, because they’re coming for all of us.
thanks for taking the time to write this, very well said 🙂
I agree that it doesn’t mean bans are warranted! I am staunchly against censoring art!
AND there’s room for lots of preferences.
It's not about individuals, it's about trends.
And that's also not quite the topic.)
That these discourses don't see through the fascism is scary.
Which is fine!
