‼️ Russia: “Lavrov said that poverty in the US is at every step”
Accusation in the mirror is at work again!
Let me be clear: what poverty means in the United States is completely different than what it means in Russia:

2025 US poverty level: $25,820 for a family of 3
Median Russian Household Income (2023, PPP): $27,300
So, even with dodgy PPP, the median is barely out of US poverty.
Median Russian Household Income (2023, USD): $9,000.
In the case of Russia, PPP is essentially a measure of misery and the cheapness of life.
Products are cheap because there is no quality control and because impoverished workers are cheap to employ.
This is very much the reality in Russia. And considering their current financial situation, Russia very much wants to draw attention AWAY from themselves.
Don’t fall for it.
👉 for naive reader in West the presence of homeless people can be a proof of poverty "at every step"
👉 russian audience just project what they do know (e.g. poverty) onto the Western society and think "they have the same"
Looking forward to the day #Lavrov sits in front of a military tribunal and we'll see if he has as much horseshit coming out of his mouth...
