DeepSeek also typically takes up to 4 or 5 times longer than ChatGPT to "think" about things, especially programming problems. I suspect this is ultimately a hardware limitation, however. I would imagine that OpenAI have a fuck-you hoard of GPUs that DeepSeek don't have.
