Does the left's pundit class remember what happened in the last true primary - i.e., the party united around a centrist to block what otherwise would have been Sanders' nomination? Do they understhand the disquiet Jewish Democrats feel about the Squad? There's more to the AOC snub than geriatrics.

If you're not including him in such a conversation then you're not being serious - he singlehandedly altered the course of the primaries and no, neither his constituents or other centrist dems are "low info" voters being "played" or otherwise don't understand the differences between the two wings.

Democrats in general just don’t understand power dynamics. They fight by the “rules” but the other side has zero rules, so they are always at a disadvantage. People like Crockett, AOC, Murphy understand this, but the old guard in leadership don’t and that’s why we are in this situation.
