She did so in a way that amplified antisemitic rhetoric that has been used against the Jewish community for centuries.
While my solidarity work lately has been more focused on Palestine, my advocacy work is rooted in my anti-racist journey, specifically as it relates to Black Americans.
While (white) Jewish Americans have a history within the civil rights movement, we have done much since then to perpetuate white supremacy and add to the oppression of Black Americans as a result; not always intentionally, but often as a way to assimilate into the majority white-Christian America.
