I kinda want to send this to my sister, who with my mother, was involved with getting a vet memorial erected in their town, but after nearly 30 years of Fox, they both voted for Trump, because, well because he wasn't one of those "evil" Democrats ๐
If my father was alive (WWII Marine Sgt., South Pacific 1942-45) he would say the same thing. I weep in his memory as I watch this gentleman. I weep for all of us.
When I first watched that earlier today I sobbed for awhile, it's so heartbreaking. If people refuse to listen to him, they are evil and there's no excuse. He shouldn't have to watch this happen again. His country is gone
I can assure you that the rest of the world donโt feel the same. Your country hasnโt fought any wars or been in other countries since 1945 that werenโt to serve corporate interests. Indoctrination and lack of other opportunities is the US militaryโs main recruitment tool.
They fought for freedom. Freedom from tyranny. And these cruel people want freedom to be cruel. I miss my grandparents, who served in WWII, and Iโm heartbroken for their memory.
I gave 20yrs to active/ reserve US army. I cry frequently for the condition in which our country is being bastardized by a draft dodging conman and a South African Nazi. Only God will help us because our population has become too stupid , lazy &/ greedy to care.
Also (and I hope Iโm wrong), the fact that the footage is apparently from a Floridian Fox News outlet suggests this vet might not be the anti-Trumper the OP is implying.
Both my grandfathers were medics during WW2. They didn't talk much about it but they taught their kids and grandkids the meaning of freedom. And their buddies who died to preserve it. We *cannot* lose it.

Also, Iโm certainly not suggesting the OP has deliberately misrepresented this footage.
