Trump’s “resoluteness” on tariffs reminds me of Steve Martin’s Nathan Johnson from The Jerk, who, when leaving his mansion, declares he needs nothing! Except an ash tray, a paddle board, matches, and several other items as he walks away. Trump just as pathetic as Nathan- and certainly more devious.
