All the talk about DisneyQuest today reminded me about the real place that I wish would come back to Disney Springs (and Downtown Disney) THE VOID. the coolest VR experience of my life and I so wish I could do it again.

I'll never forget bending down to use a railing to steady my gun on and...it was there. It was a moment where I simply utilized what the experienced offered naturally and that threw me for a loop.
I still think about how Disney basically put them out of business between licensing fees for Star Wars/marvel and how they ultimately evicted them from flagship stores.

I was grouped with a mom + two kids for one run. Everyone's quietly trying to figure out what's going on.
The first time we see Stormtroopers, mom goes off - like "storm the beaches at Normandy." 1/
Anyway, the other thing I learned is that everyone wants to touch R2D2 when they meet him. Like he's an old friend.
And remember reading somewhere how the Evermore "experience" in Utah is connected to the VOID. Was it the same owners / founders?
Never experienced it - but heard the same - very cool.
James Jensen (Co-Founder of The VOID) was contracted to recreate a digital version of the theme park using the Unity game engine.
They actually paused the early Evermore development in 2015 to focus on what would become the VOID.
The most recent Hyper Reality Partners VR concept I saw was around this “pop up” lounge, with a focus on food and beverage. https://youtu.be/lL-uM7Ldwwo?si=dEXtkWaM-ZlzrDEL
