Apparently 2/3 peeps who responded on tumblr prefer this to the previous colourscheme. I did Beige Boi here at the same time as the red one as I figured it was the colourscheme I was unhappy with. It wasn't. But it was interesting to know more people preferred this one. - ThreadSky

I like the beige; it gives a cool bone/skeletal feeling and it contrasts well with the dark body

Yeah, it does contrast well but it just didn't sit right with me, so I still feel like there's some other colour arangement I should've figured out.

I also prefer the beige cape- it helps make the red accents on the actual body pop more, and highlights the shape of the construct better

Yeah, that's an issue I was having; the red on the arms and torsos is important but any similar colour for the cape just swallowed up either the body or the red details.

I shoul say; normally I do alt colourschemes for a bit of fun after coming up with the initial "proper" colourscheme but, if I'm undecided, I might have a few on the go to flip between.
