I've asked Real Canadian Superstore to do something similar -- highlight Mexican products especially over US alternatives/produce.

At our superstore, we now have more Mexican produce available to buy instead of only avocados. I've never bought so many Mexican fruits/veggies before. Glad to support them as well!

I was at Costco here in California yesterday. Strawberries were $3 a quart, which is crazy low. I’m guessing that since Canada isn’t buying them there’s a glut in supply.
