Is it documented anywhere that team members cannot use e-mail features in #msdyn365bc? Team member cannot set Current User email type due to permission error, possibly from license. Can it use mailbox email account instead?

I think it is written between the lines that they are trying to make team member licenses as useless as possible, or just useless enough to need a proper license
Currently I can't find any information on this. I don't know should I continue trying to add Current User setup to such users, or try shared mailbox, or abandon that idea in full...
Apparently, it is possible for Teams users to have mail account set. Once the user with standard licence creates email account it appears created for other users (or, at least, for Team member users) and it works for sending of emails. I'm little bit confused how all this works.
