Fear is real though our response should not be to cower but rather to mobilize & get on the offensive. Individual democrats in congress can file a charge of "Violation of Oath of Office" against republican member of congress for not defending the laws they created. Each citizen can do it as well.

So relieved I’m no longer in the public health sector. As a former auditor of programs and facilities receiving Medicare dollars, I shudder to think what kind of oversight they will receive without the guidance and force of the CDC. A huge loss to safe practice and services for our most vulnerable
