I got an email from them. Dog knows why. I clicked on the unsubscribe link and it took me to the postal vote application. So I had to reply to say I never want to hear from them again. And I didn’t only mean via email!

Yes. You are asked to enter personal details before being redirected to the AEC site. You may be fine with giving a political party these details but the fact they are harvesting these details and the reason for doing so should be transparent.
