1/ i had this idea simmering for a little bit, what if cross, epic and the twins went for war and haven't returned and the court has been becoming restless? just a thought really plus i wanted to make a EPIC x Undertale something sooner or later lol
2/ i also think, because nightmare is the "diamond" of the harem he'd take the reigns and be pressured to choose a new ruler and being as cunning and smart as Penelope when she does the challenge and unthreads the shroud. gigGles.
3/ i mean, he is the type to easily fool others because of how intelligent he is. I wouldn't be surprised if he was able to keep the court waiting for YEARS lol oh and this is the VERY FARR future and they're all married and everything and Gaster is not in the picture 🫶
