So, my pregnant wife and I have been in the hospital overnight. We’re probably here tonight too.
She’s being monitored bc something was off in her blood work. She’s likely fine but has a manageable complication.
Pregnancy is a minefield. Restrictions on reproductive care are unscientific and sick.

It’s men making these restrictive laws. It’s men who won’t feel their consequences—unless it’s their wife/partner.
Need to keep religious dogma out of govt.
Cisgender, conservative men.
The last people who need to be making health policy for pregnant people.
It’s been a saga and I’m glad we’re in NY. Reproductive care, including abortion, needs federal protection. It’s basic healthcare.
If they insist on using their political power—power WE give them—to hurt the American people, removing them by any means necessary is just self-defense.
We can't let them weaponize civility.
And leave it to conservative policies to be disastrous as usual. 😐
