These wealthy individuals did not like how COVID brought with it economically disruptive mitigation measures and a shift in the balance of power between capital and labor. They did not want a return of more active government.
So, they’ve been working to destroy science.
Over the weekend, we reported on how Robert Kennedy Jr. had cited a junk anti-vax study from a new “journal” from a sketchy anti-vax advanced learning LLC. The study itself was funded by an anti-vax group.
Turns out the group was funded by an investment fund CEO involved in bankrolling right-wing beachheads at universities.
For example, we covered a health policy conference at Stanford organized by Trump’s current NIH pick, which featured anti-vaxxers.
