Our technical team working in the Great White North included two from ๐ฎ๐ณ, one from ๐ต๐ฐ, our team lead was ๐ฑ๐ฐ, one ๐ธ๐ด, one from ๐ฟ๐ผ, one ๐พ๐ช and us 5 ๐จ๐ฆ.
We spent long hours together. Aside from learning more about the world, it changed me. 1/

I also used to work with people very similar to me. The "brotherhood" vibe as people call it, I get that it gets everyone comfortable and why people value it. It's great. 2/

This is what I look for now when hiring: people bringing new experiences to the table. Something that nobody else can bring. 6/
I'm saying this because people need to embrace this kind of opportunity.
