I love RR Type 4 so much, but a lot of people sleep on my personal favorite, RR3 aka Rage Racer. I think it has fantastic tracks and probably a top 3 soundtrack for the series.

4 is still my fav racing game of all-time. The lighting and textures, gameplay, art direction, soundtrack, and ux design are all top tier.

The 'secret' LAN mode (appeared only when the cable was linking consoles) in the R4 was masterful. Wish I had photos of the time friends coordinated to get that running when we were younger.

Don't recall it being in the manual so we were amazed when it appeared and we were all playing together.

This one, Ace Combat 3 Electrosphere and Wip3out are just the absolute pinnacle of graphical design

Like I even hesitate to add "on the PlayStation 1" because they still have an unmatched graphic design to them, it's just peak.

(Don't have too much hope for a modern remaster with Bamco these days)
