Jets fired their GM Maccagnan on May of 2019 right after the draft. So as long as they don’t do that your Giants will not be as incompetent as my Jets were

Schoen being interested in the Rodgers/McAfee circus at all meant he was more focused on a quick fix to save his job than rebuilding the team. Mara should’ve fired him the second he suggested it so a new GM could draft their QB in May.

The only reason to retain Schoen or Daboll was a mixture of spite and incompetence on behalf of John Mara, who apparently did it in part because he was annoyed by all those anti-Schoen banners fans rented to fly over the stadium during games.

I know next to nothing about sports, but what's the appeal of hiring Rodgers? He's barely played for two years and when he has it has been bad. Plus even in this day and age, he seems especially divisive.

I think all the Rodgers talk with the Giants was real in that they were interested, but never to the point where he was their main option as was reported by national reporters (Giants beats were much more realistic about it)

But yea, thank goodness I don’t have to root for him.
