On Yom HaShoah, we remember the millions of tragic stories & those we lost, but also the miracles & those we were lucky to have known, so we could learn from them & hear their stories & pass them on to the next generation. May all of their memories be a blessing.

I missed posting this yesterday. It is the miraculous survival story of my bar mitzvah tutor, Rafael Levin z"l & his wife, Rachel z"l & their daughter, Eta. Studying with Mr. Levin was one of the greatest privileges of my life. One of only millions of such stories, but it is my link to our history.
