The truth is most probably the amount of empty commercial properties his ilk own that are sitting empty because of the digital office, allowing us to work from anywhere. I never hear bosses complaining about employees working whilst on holiday! Phone calls, texts, emails etc.

My son has worked from home since Covid. He was able to care for his wife during her cancer treatment, he worked through his own challenges and held the fort when senior colleagues were away. I'm incredibly proud of him and despise this careless criticism.
