But I guess if they're the best suited out of everyone who applied for it... I think it'll be fine either way. But does sound bonkers on paper.

Oh no, no, no. They haven’t applied for it. They have just been asked to do it. I have many more suitable staff. It is only short term, so I’m hoping there is no negative impact or undoing of work

Oh I thought they had to interview like a job. Is that allowed? I'd be annoyed if I was one of the others who might be more suitable!
