Honest question, do label signed artists REALLY not make enough money to buy groceries and pay rent for a regular home/apartment/condo? Forgive my ignorance but I figured a label deal means you have at least that much. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don't think it's possible to be "way ahead" of someone telling their personal story while also advocating for the rights of others. It's cool they are doing the work, but she was using her acceptance speech to bring attention to it, not to flex

Not what I meant: I meant the hard graft on this topic has been happening longer in the UK. The campaign has been going on for years but few big US musicians really were bold enough to align. Great to see her bring attention to it on a wider scale in the U.S. - about time.
