I find that they just aren’t accurate and I have to work too hard to make them look like watercolors so what’s the point? I’ll often go with pastels or markers and those are never what I’d do in traditional art.
The markers and pastel brushes are so good which is why it’s so confusing that the watercolor brushes are so difficult. But same here, I’m more likely to do colored pencils in traditional art but I’ve yet to find a brush that mimics it.
I do like Escape Motions Rebelle program. It's just not on the iPad. I wish they'd work on something, because it would be amazing. It's like Corel paint but focuses on water based media. It's such a resource hog, and I feel like that's the only reason they haven't shifted it over.
The gouache brush yes, but I also downloaded a bunch of free water color brushes just to try out and I still like procreate gouache brush amongst all the water color ones
