Remember playing footy in the Clarence garden as a kid and climbing on to the bowels green to get my footy every 10 mins. Gone now. My favourite was always the Hermitage though, also gone. Most recent regular was the Anfield. Also now gone. Is it me? 😂
Missing the Mons this season. Not really found a replacement where you can actually get served reasonably swiftly and sit down! And you could park in their car park.
Got married at Goodison. Nerves got the better of me and spent an hour before the ceremony in The Wilmslow in my kilt waiting for the best man to talk me out of it.
Outside The Brick, sunny day at the start of the season. Sunderland fans pulls up (playing Tranmere). One gets off, drunk, challenging everyone to a fight. Everyone ignored him. His mates all laughing. Bottle comes flying. Bang, he slumps to the floor. Gets carried back onto the bus - drives off🤣
The Netley was my favourite back in the day. Stand out memory was a lock in with a load of batshit Mackems then heading to Concert Square with them. They all missed their train home, no idea where they stayed.
Was in there after an Arsenal night game he was collecting glasses put them on the bar. Said to the barmaid he's going up and no stay behind she said why his reply they're setting the curtains in the back room on fire again
Boss boozer
I left the car next to Argos after one sesh, rocked up the next day to collect it and the lad minding it came running out and said "I've watched that for 2 days, you can pay double you tight bastard"
The Hermitage on Queens Drive. Cracking big old pub. Gone now. Could always get spares there if you needed them. Tradition through 60s to 80s. Lulu’s afterwards.
Those email groups were great, apart from when someone went on holiday for a fortnight, didn't unsubsvribe, and set their account to auto reply "I'm away" to every message
The Netley, Tramways, Clock,
Harlech, Chepstow. Best night was in the old back room of the Harlech after we won the league singing “ and his name is song “ They were what I call ‘good times’ Bill.

…the kids think Everton are bad now - they don’t know the meaning of bad!
The worst part of the day was the actual match. It was brilliant before and inevitably, after.
I missed a lot of trains 🚉
and sometimes, I can’t believe I’m still alive 🤦🏻♀️ 💙
Yeah Kenny Fog and Andy Richardson with me in the hat 🎩
Jimmy told me to hang on while he went to his wine cellar.
He ran out of the pub, down the road to the off license, bought 2 bottles and ran back again.
Top quality service

And several more.
Internet was in its infancy, very few were online. We were the pioneers - email groups only & Toffeeweb.
We only knew each other by name, would walk into Netley buzzing who we’d meet for real.
We wrote a book. The 1st of its kind ✍🏻
Seems like yesterday.
Evertonia and Bluenose. Absolutely brilliant old days.
