We own two Teslas, each purchased pre-insanity. No other affordable EVs can touch them in terms of features, energy efficiency and range. Trading them in now would result in huge financial losses for us. If I could punch Musk in the nose I would.

I don't think it was only the reputation of it's CEO, more that a market of 2.5billion people (Europe) are not able to purchase it's most expensive and money hungry model - The Cybertruck. Banned in Europe due it's sharp edges. Then you have Felon's reputation that has seen used Tesla's rot.
