tamron 150-600g2 @600 and a REALLY heavy crop. i think the final was just under 2k by 2k. not ideal but i think the comp saves it.

Nice! I’ve been eyeing the 500 5.6 Fuji just put out… trade in the 100-400.

i think you'd like it. i've had a year with this lens and you know what focal length i use 99.999999999999% of the time? max. like i dont even bother with anything else. i get there, lock it at 600mm, f8, auto ISO and rarely touch anything unless there's a special reason like really low light.

yeah thats the phrase lol more for street photography iirc. 6.3 on this tammy is just a touch too soft so i'll hang onto f8 & 1/3200 as long as i can and flex all the ISO in the world. plus masking is just so damn good in post i can honestly do whatever i like with the background.

Yeah, I’ve owned the 150-600G2, it was quite nice. I’m moving more towards primes these days.
