Decent-ish? The swing seat Rs are terrified of the effect the abortion ban could have in November, so they see getting rid of it as the lesser of two evils, to allow them to keep control of the AZ legislature, which is VERY close to flipping blue.
Arizona House also majority Republican. From a purely strategic anti-choice POV it makes no sense to keep this law on the books, it's a gift to the pro-choice constitutional amendment that will be on the ballot.
