Seems a bit contradictory. It's well-known that hatred of Jews runs deep in Christendom and elsewhere. It will come out in the open where there are no restrictions on speech (I don't favor restrictions). What does work is cancel culture. Odious but legal speech should bring social consequences.

Based on last year's congressional hearings, I'm surprised Harvard isn't in the Trump admin's crosshairs. But other commenters here are probably right, they only need to make one example to intimidate the other universities. Also, Harvard has more friends in high places who could join a pushback.
