Also, when I get around to building a full online shop, I can host with Wordpress & use Woocommerce and have it pull my inventory directly from Square, so if I manage to get everything barcoded &an actual accurate inventory count, when I sell in person I scan the item, & it pulls it from inventory

I’d like to get to that point myself. I use Shopify and love it, and could use it as a point of sale if I ever got that set up. It’s on the never ending to-do list.

I like my Square Terminal. I think Shopify still only runs off of an Ipad for their POS, and I have absolutely zero desire to deal with adding a new piece of tech/new OS. I actually already bought the barcode scanner 2 years ago when I was hiring a helper, but that fell through (long story)

Basically I hired someone to help me rectify my inventory, and get things priced, barcoded, all that. I rented a storage unit so we could actually get at the at in my van, I had scheduled time with him, and then he had to cancel last minute so I was out the cost of the storage unit, and no barcoding

I make pretty much zero sales unless I'm actively posting things. Until the last couple of weeks, I hadn't sold anything online since about June. The benefit of hosting on Square is, no hosting fees, no Etsy fees, just CC processing fees.
