If you do want the cliffs of Moher, start in Hags head (€2 car park) or Doolin (free). Parking at the Cliffs entrance is a rip off.

Good to know, thanks. I still think that the Cliffs of M are over sold and must be a nightmare on a rare sunny day mid summer season. A great spot, but let's face it, there's loads!

For sure but they are iconic and pretty spectacular. Anyone I’ve brought there loved them and that hike from Doolin to Hag’s. Topped off with a bite and a pint in Vaughans or O’Connors depending on the direction travelled.

Ah. The smell of he salt air. You’re so fortunate. Love the west coast. Clare is particularly nice and has so much to offer from the Burren all the way to loop head. Loved the summers I spent there in Barrtra.
