(1) 🗺️ Common Route: Band Camp Boyfriend had a long, intricate common route that lasted 5-6 days (and took quite a lot of programming whew). Heartbreaker has a short common route that lasts a single day.

(2) Route #⃣: BCB had 7 routes because we wanted to represent as many instruments and personalities as possible! HB has 4 routes + a finale. It may not have as many routes, but they will be longer and diverge in wildly different directions.

(3) ↔️Route Order: BCB routes can be played in any order, barring the locked final route. HB is more linear: Eclipse & Persy are locked at the start of the game. The recommended route order will be Ham > Beast > Eclipse > Persy. The routes get darker & more complicated as you go.

(4) MC: In BCB, we embraced a more self-insert experience by not showing Cadence on screen or having her voiced. In HB, our MC will be on screen at all times so you can easily tell if she's her civilian self or in supervillain form. We also have plans to cast a voice actress!

(5) POV Changes: Band Camp Boyfriend was strictly Cadence's POV save for a few special circumstances such as Poptart's final chapter. POV switches will be more common in Heartbreaker so you never miss out on the action.

(6) Content: BCB was rated T-13+ with a younger cast. HB centers on an older cast with more mature themes. I'm thinking it'll be M-17+ because of alcohol, language, and sexual themes. Nothing explicit, but it happens off-screen or in fade to black style (sorry spice-enjoyers).
