Honestly as a BPDer I don't have any strong feelings about saying a character looks like another character.
Getting bent out of shape about it is just being an asshole, fullstop. You don't have to LOVE it, but you don't have to treat it like an accusation of theft, either.

I kinda wish we as artists didn't always put our pride about it first. In marketing, instantly getting the attention from completely left field would be a good thing lol.
This isn't to say that you can't get to the same end with a wide variation of *how* the bird is rendered. Just that you will, inevitably, make a mark someone else did.
