TBH everything about it minus the lack of antennae to me screams insect; velvet ants/cow-killers in particular; it's got the same kind of body-fur, facial structure+mouthparts, compound eyes+3 light-detecting mini-eyes above those & a stinger

There are actually a good bunch of animals that can make silk(including carp!); hornets+parasitic wasps are also on that list too, so having Lala Barina being a silk-producing velvet ant wouldn't be too far of a stretch at all if they made it a Neopteron monster type instead of a Temnoceran

Lala Barina is a Temnoceran monster, which are inspired by spiders, same as Nerscylla.

yes, basically! The only eight legged Temnoceran I can think of is Rakna-Kadaki from Rise. I can't remember the reason for the lack of limbs, but I think it had to do with game rigging? Something to Google later!
