I got compliments at work on my locs today!

I used to be self-conscious growing my hair long because it wouldn't look "professional" or that it would cause judgment.

I realize a lot of it was due to the pressures of being PoC in my career.

Now I wear my locs proud now and couldn't be happier ✌🏾
