I remember there were Palestinian Americans who voted for Trump as a protest of Biden’s policies in Gaza. Why do we always have voters in every election who cannot see what is obvious?

The do nothing Democrats run something?? They literally had 4 years to stop this from happening, hell the supreme Court literally handed them a blank check to do whatever they wanted to stop this, instead they did what they always do, nothing.
Yet republicans can run campaigns on hatred and bigotry, and lies about eating pets and win. Apparently dems must run a flawless campaign to win which is never going to happen. I guess enjoy the alt right takeover.
I don't know why it's so hard for so many of us on the left to acknowledge that a lot of people in this country are hurting. The average voter clearly wanted change - Did Harris really differentiate herself from Biden in any meaningful way?
Many of those hurting chose to *increase* their pain. Being poor is difficult. Being poor without food assistance or Medicare will indeed be a change. I just don’t think it’s going to be a good one.
There is no fucking excuse to vote for a fascist. Trump said everything that he would do. Germany needed to get humiliated losing a world war to get this type of fascism, we get it because dumbasses fell for influencers and Facebook memes.
Not saying it is justified in any way. Just telling you many Americans are living paycheck to paycheck, getting absolutely railed by our healthcare system and housing costs. Most are also not well-informed at all. Clearly electing Harris represented more of the same to these people.

No one wants to hear I told you so. But how can we help people learn, or are we doomed to always have a plurality of ignorance in this country? The evidence was there - that Trump was a disatrously WORSE choice. I guess media made it impossible for people to know the truth.
That sounds like a YOU problem. No one likes to be wrong but you should be grown enough to deal with the consequences. Especially if you had people telling you you were wrong the whole time.
I know how you feel, but I have humbled myself many times in my life to say, yes I was wrong, I made a mistake. Like when I voted for Reagan. I was soo upset over the Iran situation,I thought Carter such a good man but just too weak. I made a huge mistake.
Cold hard truths are needed at times and we all need the humility to accept we were wrong on an issue, it's how we evolve and become better, don't take it personally...
People as a whole are stupid. There are so many people who vote on a single issue and don't even know one thing about the candidates. That causes them to make generalizations and we end up with Trump.
That’s rich. We need to stay united but then you place the blame on everyone else. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. If you abstained your vote then you are just as culpable.
You can't willingly support Israel doing a genocide in Gaza AND expect Palestinian Americans to support you in an election just because you are not Trump.
