4/ The first of my relatives noticed a security presence, including horseback cops, seemingly protecting the congregation, which was families in traditional Orthodox garb walking into the synagogue for services.

5/ He noticed a ruckus outside the synagogue, with pickup trucks brandishing Trump and MAGA flags.
The second relative, following close behind, heard the Trump supporters waving their MAGA flags and chanting at the people walking into the synagogue, "GO HOME," repeatedly.

6/ Telling me about it weeks later, she was still dumbfounded at their actions. Why would Trumpers be chanting at American citizens "Go home," much less Orthodox Jewish citizens? Was it flat-out hatred of the unfamiliar? Hard-right anti-Semitism? What the hell?

7/ "You sure it wasn't Palestinian protesters?" I asked. No, I was told - definitely Trump and MAGA flags being brandished.
At any rate, I have searched the media for reports on this (which I am VERY certain DID take place, because these folks do not make stuff up), and have found nothing.

9/ But I think this event should have been publicized by media, BEFORE the election. In fact, maybe it should have been a national story. But journalism appears to be dead in the United States, which really helps the worst people in the world.
