With the allegations against Hegseth, he would not even be able to serve in the military. He would be in violation of the US military code of conduct, as would many of the convicted felons picks...and speaking of not being eligible to serve, nor would trump as being a convicted felon

He’s a rapist even though no charges were brought, he paid the victim for her silence. When my therapist sexually exploited & abused me, the DA declined the felonies she committed against me but the VA paid me quite bit of money to stay silent. I went to ABC7 LA and told the whole story.

The mere fact of having NDAs about personal behavior (instead of things like business related trade secrets or client financial info) points at blackmail risk. PATTERN of extramarital affairs (crime of adultery if active duty military) disqualifies on general lack of trustworthiness.
