The republican politicians gutted the hell out of ACA. That is the reason mom and pop businesses had a hard time with it. Even still, the ACA has helped Americans get care. Even after Fox called it Obama Care and labeled it a handout it was worth it. Insurance agencies were forced to cover you.

People need to understand that cutting Medicaid also means cutting the Medicaid expansion that became available through the ACA to states to cover insurance subsidies and Medicaid for the poor.
