Scoring a goal though?

Thats the dream. I don’t get many opportunities, as most teams don’t pull the goalie even when trailing late in non-check leagues. But it does happen on occasion, and I’m always ready to fire one down, haha.

Good Luck. I tried once and it was going in… but the buzzer went! Ref wouldn’t give it anyway. Even other team said give it. 😂 Time my shot with a calendar.

You both talked about the width of goal pads, but let’s talk about the length. They extend well past the knees now and are there purely to stop five hole goals while in the butterfly position.

This is a good point. I’m actually going to make it a point to talk to some goalies about the pros and cons of making the pads shorter. The thigh rise is still about protection to an extent (protecting knees in butterfly) but there does seem like there’s room to play.
