At least on browser, in notifications, there should be a Mentions tab which is essentially comments to your posts (or your comments on other's posts).

on desktop you can try to use https://deck.blue as a web client (basically tweetdeck experience) - and there you can set column with different filter options

Yeah I have to scroll through my posts to see all the interactions, my account isn't as big though so I imagine it gets a lot harder the bigger your audience, they're updating all the time though! :)

They added a mentions tab in he notification section of the actual app, but not in the web

There is also a feed you can use that shows only your mentions and the context, if that would be easier to parse:

Huh, I wonder if they're rolling it out over time, I only use web and my notifications page has a mentions section.

You're not missing anything, they just straight up suck. But you can add the mentions tab to your feed so you don't miss on comments to your posts. That's pretty much the only "fix" for it.
