Many people do not realize what Medicaid actually covers. In addition to chronically ill children, those born with catastrophic illnesses, and those who are of low income. Medicaid helps to cover part of the costs for chronic serious diseases of the elderly and nursing home care.

Retirees often do not realize that if they have congestive heart failure, liver failure or other serious disease, Medicaid parters with Medicare for their coverage. Cutting this coverage will not only bankrupt, but also people will not have care and die.
