I just can't believe how close the Frisian language is to medieval 'English'. Nobody gets taught about this stuff here in UK. It should be in schools. Here, 'history' began with Henry VIII...

The same in the Netherlands. Think because Frisians were too long an obscure people without an own written history and without state-like (royal) institutions.
