We had a cat that liked to kill socks. She'd kill one, meow in triumph, then bring us the sock.

My cat brings me one of my clean socks from the laundry basket every now and then, drops it in the kitchen, meows, and then walks away. I pick it up, praise her effusively, and give her a treat. It's adorable.
