I used to buy these for my lunch when I worked at an airport. We had one of those laser thermometers - so I’d laze it until it got down to 112° before I put it in my mouth. Many mouth blisters were had to figure out the right temp 😂.
Something is wrong with that pie. The apple pie sold by McDonald's in the USA has grooves on top. I know because I used to work on the production line that makes those apple pies in the USA.

It had all the fried goodness of the classic McDonald's apple pie, with the genius addition of cheese.
And yes, it was hotter than the surface of the Sun, but so totally worth it.
They would either be too cold or too hot.
But once the outer shell is breached, Hell is unleashed.
Second only to 2:00 am 7-11 burrito.
