I feel completely vindicated about everything I said about how convoluted the world title stuff was last year btw. That was such an anticlimactic way to wrap up that Christian contract angle 😂

Do you think Darby was supposed to be the one to take the title off Mox? I ask cause I've been wondering about it in relation to Darby letting them know who was going to try climbing Everest. I wonder if they knew immediately or if they found way later in the game?
I kind of like it because it gives something to Christian to complain about and gives Copeland a direction away from the world title for now and who knows a feud between e&c might heat them both up again
With stuff like this, I always want to know what the original idea that probably fell through or what they pivoted away from.
It always feels like they had an idea, but something happened or plans shifted, and they are basically following through enough to not simply leave shit hanging.
Yeah I really wish they could have done better I know it's much as a difficult point for that but I would say it could have been something unique if they hold that title angle by let's say in the prominent future. I just wish they could have done better with this in the long stretch
On another some what related note, I do wonder if Bryan should have just let Darby win it instead of Mox. I wonder if it would have been better to have Mox & the Death Riders chase Darby for the belt. It may have saved people from being burnt out on them so fast and added depth to this storyline.
Yeah but I think it could have been something unique in the way where he could have had a little title run just to drop it to someone new. I also would like to add that if they were going to drop his contract they should have at least had him in this match in the middle of it where moxley and
Cope was already fatigued. I don't know how it kind of makes sense just for him to come out through the contract hit his kill switch then just gets choked out by moxley. Especially when he was still healthy compared to the two.
I also would say what could have happened was Cage hits the kill switch on Cope then Moxley stop the pin throw cage out of the match and then steql the pin there (by the way sorry about the long paragraphs)

I actually didn't mind Christian losing in the way he did. He did everything right. He waited for the pitch perfect time. Had Cope beat, lost cause of Mox.
Christian still had the presence of mind to try to get a hand on Cope and when Mox saw he could have lost the title while stopping the man from breathing, he repositioned himself to keep Christian from reaching him. That ended it.
This was fine in establishing that it's not a guaranteed win.

I had very low expectations when it came to Christian and his contract. And boy howdy not only did they go under the bar, Satnam Singh could walk through that space with his arms up! Tonight made Christian look like an idiot!
Doing a MITB type contract was a bad idea, but they could have salvaged it if they just had booked Nigel to win it and challenge Danielson for the title at All Out instead of Jack Perry. Hopefully they don’t do it again though.
