Our first screening on Feb 19th at Gramps (at 7pm!) features 16mm prints of Suzan Pitt's Asparagus, Maya Deren's Meshes of the Afternoon, and Germaine Dulac's The Seashell and the Clergyman, alongside a Woody Woodpecker cartoon and a number of digital clips.

Our second is a screening of Jacques Tati's Monsieur Hulot's Holiday on 16mm at the Main Library in Miami Dade on March 15th (at 3pm!). We'll obviously be touching on how much Lynch loved Tati and sharing a number of clips and tweets comparing their works.

Our third, at Gramps on March 19th (at 7pm!), touches upon a number of experimental filmmakers whose work can be discussed with Twin Peaks' "Gotta Light?". 16mm prints of two Brakhage films, Tony Conrad's The Flicker, and Paul Sharits' TOUCHING, alongside Lynch music videos and shorts.

This isn't everything, mind you. We're still hoping to continue this tribute with three more screenings, as shown below, but awaiting responses from potential collaborators and locations. If anyone in South Florida has a home for us, we'll bring our projectors and prints.

I've been grieving Lynch's passing as much as I've been celebrating him as a filmmaker, and having to work on this tribute with no resources (unlike many theaters with funding) has been humbling. I hope folks recognize our love is abundant, even in the face of our limitations.
