Commissioner Willie Burton asked about several officers who were hired without proper licensure, HR said that most of them are back on the street and Chief Bettison said he's overlooking the process himself. Comm'r Burton asked who is responsible for hiring these officers and letting them patrol
Bettison responded that an investigation is ongoing and he can't be sure if anybody at all is responsible, nor can he give an approximate timeline for the completion of the investigation
