I’ve worked for many illiterate executives- they may be able to read to a very low level but for complicated text they get a secretary to read it to them (or take it home and get their partner to read/write things for them.
Did you see the final screenshot from the original tweet I quoted? His aides had to distill 3-page briefings to 3 bullet points, and then discovered he only read the first 2 bullets. Being from Canada and having to listen to his 51st state threats for months, yes, "dementia" comes to mind!
There shouldn’t be shame in it, but I guess it’s one of those things that people assume… and then it’s harder and harder (now impossible for him) to continue to fake? Thanks for the link, that was excellent
