I am gluten and dairy free. And I eat organic which means I shop more frequently because it's not sprayed with preservatives. My diet is very expensive.
Really good. I upgraded my bread machine to the kind with GF baking selection. Also experimenting with all the different flours (e.g. sorghum, millet,etc) has been an adventure. Also had a GF sourdough starter for awhile, but life got in the way of maintaining it.
We've been fiscally forced into being fat, sick, and stupid since the 80s.
Every new questionable additive used tested only by the company trying to pawn it off on us. Every time it gets regulated, they find something new to poison us with.
True reality. So why are we paying more to not be poisoned? Why isn't it an option? These people and companies get tax breaks to continue to make huge profits and enrich shareholders.
Farmers don't know what they're spraying. They listen to a sales pitch filled with bullshit and only understand "cheaper, and kills bugs"
What's worse is sodium propionate in breads for mold inhibition. It's literally a neurotoxin. Fine if you have one slice every other day, but its in everything
Farmers didn't get much chance to fight against the contamination. And that means the public didn't. We are almost never given an opportunity to advocate for our well-being. Countless companies and organizations create & profit off dis-ease.
Because we are not people to them. We are glorified equipment. Cattle to be used to press buttons and lift objects. Their idea of what we should be eating is a pig trough, and it shows with every buffet.
And people wonder why so many Americans are so unhealthy. While the multi-billionaires push for more tax cuts for themselves and fewer social services for everyone else.
